Information about cookies
Cookies are IT data stored on users’ end devices and intended for use with websites. In particular, they are text files containing the name of the website they come from, the storage time on the end device and a unique number.
The Website does not automatically collect any information except information contained in cookies.
How we use cookies
Cookies are intended for using the Website pages and are used for:
- logging in and maintaining the user session on each subsequent Website page,
- adjusting website content to the user’s individual preferences; primarily, these files recognise the user’s device to display the website according to those preferences,
- creating anonymous statistics without identifying the user.
Cookies used by our partners listed in the website operator’s privacy policy, including in particular website users, are subject to those partners’ own privacy policies.
Data security
To protect the data entrusted to us, we have developed internal procedures and recommendations intended to prevent data disclosure to unauthorised persons. We monitor their performance and continuously check compliance with relevant laws, including personal data protection law, the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means and EU legal acts.
Types of cookies
We use two types of cookies:
- session cookies - they remain on your device until you leave the website or close the browser,
- persistent cookies - they remain on your device for a specified time or until manually deleted.
Anonymous statistical data
Using cookie technology, we collect only anonymous statistical data used to improve portal convenience and minimise advertising nuisance. We do not collect any data that would allow you to be identified.
The only user information that, without being combined with other data, does not allow identification is the IP address from which the user connects. The IP address may also be provided to our partners, including Google. Also in that case, identification based on this data is not possible.
Managing cookies in your browser
By default, web browsing software allows cookies to be placed on the user’s end device. These settings may be changed by the user to block automatic cookie handling in browser settings or to notify each time cookies are sent to the user’s device.
