How to turn on online payments

Online payments let clients buy memberships on the club website and in the app. The money goes straight to the club's account with the chosen payment provider. fitipass does not hold it.

Supported providers

Przelewy24, PayU, imoje and PayPal.

Step 1. Open an account with the provider

If the club does not have an account with a payment provider yet, open one on the provider's website. After verification you get access details to enter in fitipass.

Step 2. Add a payment method in fitipass

  1. Go to Billing → Payment methods and add a new method.
  2. Enter the name clients will see, for example "Online payment".
  3. Choose the type, for example Online: Przelewy24.
  4. Enter the access details from the provider. Under Before you start, fitipass shows which details the provider needs and what to set in its panel.
  5. Turn on Is visible to clients so clients see this method when buying.
  6. Save.

Testing

Turn on Sandbox mode if you want to try payments on the provider's test account first. In test mode use only the provider's test card details. Before you start selling, turn this mode off and enter the live details.

Recurring memberships

Memberships that renew automatically need a payment method that supports recurring payments. You set this in the payment method form under Recurring renewals. When buying such a membership, the client only sees methods that support it.
